Help wanted:Volunteers
Our member free clinics operate with very small paid staffs and armies of dedicated, committed volunteers. We schedule volunteers at your convenience. Some volunteers work at a clinic once a month or once a quarter, providing quality healthcare to patients who have no access to healthcare services because they have no health insurance and limited resources. Other volunteer providers take charity referrals in their individual practices at no charge or reduced cost. Patients are profoundly grateful.
The free clinics are able to provide medications at no cost to the patient through pharmaceutical manufacturers' Patient Assistance Programs and about half of the free clinics use their partnership with Communicare.
